While I tried to keep this site as simple to use as possible, the Gallery smashed that whole idea. Unfortunately, its not the ideal example of user interface design nor ease of use.
I'll explain a few things here to get you started.
- The gallery is divided up by albums. When you first click on "Gallery," you'll see the top level albums. This is the starting point. Click on an album to see its contents. Albums can contain other albums, not just photographs.
- Everyone has their own album! That means the second you join the site, you can start creating albums and posting content. Click on "Your Album" at the top left corner of the gallery page. This will create your album if its the first time. From here, create and upload to your hearts content.
- There are numerous ways to upload. Cilck on "Add Items" (again, not the most straight-forward interface) in the navigation to begin the process. The easiest way to get started is to just hit "From Web Browser." However, that starts to get painful if you want to upload lots of pictures. You can play with the other options there for more ideas (the Windows XP option is what I use).
- Lastly, please do not mess up other people's albums. :)
Yeah, that's not the best set of instructions. But its close to 2 AM on a Monday Night. :(
